Samaj Ratna Dr. Gautam Pandurang Gosavi born in a middle class family to freedom fighter Pandurang Baliram Gosavi on 27th December 1956. In spite of the middle class condition of the family, Gautam Gosavi’s father, Pandurang Gosavi was a man of clear thoughts and simple living with front step with a social work. Pandurang Gosavi was a freedom fighter in the year of 1942 in The Quit India Movement. He received an award from the 1st President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad and also received many awards within the State of Maharashtra. As the saying goes, like father like son, Gautam Gosavi also started Social work while completing his education. Following his father footsteps, he under took full-fledged social work and started living a simple life.In the year 1976,aged 20,he completed his education in field of rural development from Maliwada, Aurangabad and started to work towards the same by use of his social work. After becoming a member of institute of Cultural Affairs, he carried out works (comprehensive programs)in Maharashtrian areas of Akola, Aurangabad ,Kolhapur, Pune, Sangli, Satara and Ratnagiri, others areas in which he worked included Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

In Chicago, 1979, Dr. Gosavi presented his views on the topic ‘Economic development and integrity of regional people. ‘He was also the source of excitement for the audience when he spoke in worldwide conference held at USA regards the help for rural and urban development. 1981 to 1983, he established social, cultural and economic development and training centre in East Africa for tribal class. One more such centre for development of India was started in mountainous area of Nairobi, 40kms from the capital of Kenya. In the year 1984, he participated in worldwide employee seminar held at Chicago. He conducted his social work at an international level for a while then returned to India to work for Dalit’s and socially backward tribes of the country. Dr. Gosavi established Maharashtra Yuva Shakti Social Organiasation in the year 2004 at Thane. Even after working at international level, He returned to motherland and conducted social work all the time following trends of common man. During his work Dalit’s, Socially backward and youngsters he realized that within India, after 10th and 12th, many options for diploma and graduation but the poor section of students are not able to afford this. Due to which they are forced to leave their education in between. A few of these manage to earn a degree but fail at obtaining desired job. After noticing this he wanted to do something for welfare of such people. To fulfill this dream of his, he started G.G.Education of Paramedical Science. Courses likes Diploma in Pathology, Diploma in Radiography, Diploma in Optometry, Dental Hygiene, O.T. Technician were started which had course duration of less than 2 years.
